We have our mortgage with Wells Fargo. So, we decided to open a checking account with them as well. Leah from the Santa Barbara, La Cumbre Branch was our banker. She opened a PMA account for us and informed us that we would have all kinds of privileges due to our mortgage being with them. After three months we were charged a $30 fee! Leah had assured me that would not be the case. I called the bank and spoke to Sam Astan as Leah was not there. He told me not to worry he would take care of it. We would continue with our PMA account, he would reverse the fee, & he would talk with his manager to make sure it did not happen again. That never happened! Needless to say, I called again. This time I spoke with Leah. She assured me she would take care of everything, which included reversing the fee. Again, she did nothing! She tried to deny setting up the account! I was shocked. This bank is similar to a used car lot. Their policy should be "bait & switch"! I will switch banks as soon as possible.
